Phuket 3 Days 2 Nights – A Trip That Has Everything

This was a short trip, but surprisingly complete.
Beaches, snorkeling, temples, cafés, Old Town, and nightlife — all in just 3 days.

If you’re planning a Phuket trip, this itinerary works really well.

Day 1 – Easy Start, Classic Phuket Vibes

Arrived at Phuket International Airport and started the trip right away.

First stop: Mai Khao Beach.
This is the famous beach where you can see airplanes flying low over your head.
It feels open, windy, and wide — a perfect “reset” moment to start the trip.

Next, we visited Wat Phra Thong.
A historic temple known for its half-buried golden Buddha. A peaceful stop to begin the journey.

Late morning, we relaxed at Ma Doo Bua Café.
A calm place with lots of photo spots and a nice break before heading into town.

In the afternoon, we explored Phuket Old Town.
Colorful buildings, small streets, slow pace — completely different from the beach vibe.

We also visited:

  • Aam Pu Jor Shrine
  • Jui Tui Shrine

These places give you a deeper cultural side of Phuket.

Check-in at Mazi Design Hotel

At night, we headed to Patong Walking Street.
This is where Phuket transforms — lights, music, energy everywhere.
Totally different from the daytime atmosphere.

Day 2 – Full Day at Sea

Early start today.

Left the hotel around 7:20 AM and arrived at Laem Nga Pier by 8:30 AM.

Then it’s all about the ocean.

Speedboat, snorkeling, crystal-clear water.
No need to think too much — just float, swim, and enjoy.

Time passes faster than you expect.

In the evening, we had dinner at Ko Hong Khao Tom Pla

Simple food, but really good. A Michelin-recognized local favorite.

After dinner, we walked around Saphan Hin Night Market (Lard Yai style local vibe).
Lots of food, local atmosphere, very relaxed.

Stayed at Charcoal Panwa Beach
Quieter than Patong — perfect for resting.

Day 3 – Landmarks Before Departure

Last day, no rush — but still managed to cover key spots.

Started the morning with Bun Rak Dim Sum.
Simple, local, and satisfying.

Then visited Wat Chalong
The most important temple in Phuket. Calm and meaningful.

Next stop: Big Buddha Phuket
Up on the hill, windy, quiet, wide views.
You feel something different here.

Stopped at Karon Viewpoint
You can see three beaches in one frame — Kata, Karon, and Patong.

Afternoon seafood at Rawai.
Fresh, simple, local-style dining.

Ended the trip at Promthep Cape
Watching the sunset.

That moment feels like a proper ending.

Then headed to the airport for a 10:00 PM flight back to Bangkok.

Final Thoughts

3 days, 2 nights
Nothing rushed, but everything covered.

  • Beach
  • Culture
  • Food
  • Nightlife
  • Nature

Phuket isn’t just about the sea.
It’s a mix of many different experiences in one place.

And this trip… managed to touch almost all of them.
