Drawing Room Coffee & Gallery – A Creative Art Café in Phuket Old Town

The café has gained attention for its unique identity. It is not designed as a modern commercial café, but rather as a space that reflects artistic expression, making it especially appealing to travelers looking for something different in Phuket.
Atmosphere and Design
The interior feels like a private art studio, filled with paintings, sketches, and carefully arranged objects that give the space a lived-in and authentic feel. The design blends vintage and bohemian elements, creating a warm and slightly nostalgic atmosphere.
Each corner of the café has its own personality. Instead of a uniform layout, the space feels organic, as if it has evolved over time. This makes it interesting to explore and comfortable to sit in for extended periods.
Coffee and Menu
The café focuses mainly on coffee, with an emphasis on simple preparation that highlights the natural flavor of the beans. The approach is straightforward and unpretentious, allowing the quality of the coffee to stand out.
There are also a few light options available, but the main experience here is about enjoying a good cup of coffee in a calm and creative setting rather than a full dining experience.

The lady here is kinda… rude, and there’s music festival here, crowded, pick a position to enjoy the band shows, trying not to bother people coming across the road, everyone is in happy time, enjoying the amazing musicians and great shows, while the lady, cafe bar owner, came out and said: don’t get the door way at my bar, I was surprised and said… oh okay… you could please to say in the nicer way, or maybe ask me if I could something to order and take a seat in the house, I am also a Restuarant owner and a Chef in Shanghai, it’s always nice to be polite to all your customers. My Phuket trip is amazing, just this moment kinda kill the mood, anyway, still love this beautiful place☺️
27/04/2025 18:33Is the coolest Coffee Shop in the world?
For my opinion it is! You sit like in a Museum with things from the 60s and 70s
Great chill Music, makes such a good mood!and not to forget, the Barista prepares fantastic Coffee specialises!
The vibe there is amazing!
So happy I found this beautiful place
Will visit again when I'll be back in Phuket Town
I can’t put 5 stars, because they don’t have plant based milk. Today many people prefer avoid cow milk.
But the place is crazy, I like you go to a back stage of a shop or something like that, is cute and original, not very comfortable. Very cheap place.
Really I go fast and i forgot to pay my coffee…. First time in my life, but 4 minutes after I call the shop to tell what happened to me, they send my the bank account and I make the 85 thb transfer maybe 20 minutes after I left the coffee shop.
I totally understand you where mad at me , is too funny!
Sorry about that , I am still thinking you can have plant based milk , as soy milk , is very common people can’t drink cow milk.
God for your business.

We accidentally walked into this place and fall in love with this cafe instantly. This cafe is so cool and the owner seems to be an artist as well. We saw a lot of painting and interesting collections, as this place is an antique shop.
We noticed all the customers are locals and we are the only tourists here. I guess it’s because the cafe is not close to the tourist spots, although it’s not far from On On hotel.
I ordered ice passion fruit coffee. For some reason it tastes like orange chocolate and it’s beyond my expectation and super tasty.
My friend got a latte and she said it’s so smooth and very good as well.
We are so glad that we found this hidden gem and this place would definitely be my hangout place if I live here!
We went in to have an espresso and an iced latte, worse mistake ever.
There is no possibility to pay with the card, which we didn't expect as it's a cafe not a street food place. Anyway, the guy was horrible with us and with a terrible attitude. We asked him where was a cash machine, he didn't know (!), we asked to send money to his account, he said no (!), we offered all the cash we had, he said no again, so my partner said we can't pay then so we will not take the coffee, and the guy started to say he would call police (what a laugh by the way!).
And I'm like, why don't you just put a sign saying it's cash only? And the guy starts to insult me saying I'm stupid!
I didn't make a scene and walk away of his stupid coffee shop just because I didn't want to be any longer involved in that absurd situation.
At the end one British guy was there and he paid for us in cash and we passed the money to him.
But no, avoid.
