Aquaria Phuket turned out to be a genuinely enjoyable experience. Yes, the tickets are slightly over-priced, but once you step inside, the ambience, lighting, and background music really elevate the entire visit. The exhibits are well-designed, and you get to see a wide variety of sea creatures up close.

Walking through the aquarium made me pause and reflect on just how much life exists in this world, most of which we never get to see. It’s a reminder that we’re just one small part of a vast, diverse planet filled with incredible species.

The place is well-maintained and family-friendly. If you're in Phuket and enjoy nature or marine life, it’s definitely worth a visit — just be prepared for the price tag.

Overall, a solid 4/5 and a memorable experience.

For Thailand's biggest aquarium it's actually quite small.
I was hoping to spend a good 1-2 hours here but we walked through in about 30 minutes.
Besides all the fish they have a small section of birds, bunny, frogs, lizards... Not many animals looked happy especially the raccoons.
One thing I really didn't like is how many plastic plants are around. The animals are kept in extremely small enclosures with fake flowers and grass what the hell?!
You can take a souvenir photo for 400 baht but it is just a green screen background.
Overall I don't think it's worth it. I wouldn't come back and I wouldn't recommend. Disappointed.

It was overall okay, the show was comically underwhelming, more of a kids attraction. The aquarium itself was buzzing with sea life, but that's about it. I was more interested with the upstairs section which had arachnids and reptiles! Also, it's much cheaper to pre-book a visit to this place online that by doing in at the location itself.

It took about 2+ hours to complete the tour, and each species has its own description board. Getting to know them and watching them is a truly rewarding experience.

Great experience overall. The place is a bit small and you can cover everything in about an hour after which there's not much to do. You can keep waiting for shows, which happen in dining area of you have the time. Watched one underwater belle dancing which was great. Missed the morning mermaid show
